I’m having trouble installing WordPress 2.0 on my mac. I don’t have my SQL, don’t know how to work out the instructions, FTPs or anything so is there a way without wordpress 2.0?
i have been using cpanel for a while and the web hosting i am currently using is closing next month what do i have to do to get it to the next hosting account. i am using wordpress that is why i am asking
i can down load the database and wordpress files but i use the automatic wordpress creator do i just change the Database is it that easy
i can save all the files ftp but what about the database what do i do with that?????
I just bought a website from a guy earlier today and I need to transfer it to my own hosting account.
He gave me the files to wordpress and the MySQL database dump file.

If any can help me, I am trying to transfer my blog from wordpress.com to godaddy. I have read different peoples answers but they have not helped. They are either outdated or just incorrect. I am a novice to this blogging stuff and would like the basica an easiest answer to this question. I have already created my blog and I already have a domain name and hosting account I just need to figure out how to move from wordpress.com to godaddy. Thanks to anyone who can help.
