I need a good CMS, that allows forums, photo gallery videos, and chat room…. I don’t want wordpress, drupal, php-fusion… php-nuke,or joomla… thanks!

1. which blogging site is your favorite? (tumblr, blogspot, blogger, wordpress, etc.)
2. what is your blog about?/what do you blog about?
3. im thinking about writing a story/list about the things i would have told my middle-school self. would this be appropriate for a blog? (i.e. one tip a post)

on my site when i try go to my blog all i see is a blank page saying : Fatal error: Call to a member function get_page_permastruct() on a non-object in /home/”sitename”/public_html/blog/video/wp-includes/link-template.php on line 215

line 215 in link-template.php is this:
$pagestruct = $wp_rewrite->get_page_permastruct();

Im a noob so i don’t know what is wrong with this line. any help??

The ip address is my ISP address. I thought if I used my ISP in the code, if the code worked then I wouldn’t be able to visit thoss pages (terms-of-use, search, thank-you) from my computer, but I can visist those pages from my computer.

I found a script here http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex3/snow.htm and i want to put it onto my wordpress site (it is a .com not .wordpress). When i put it on the page, i put it into the HTML section and it doesnt show up or anything. What am i doing wrong? I think it may have something to do with the “snowsrc” thing
I have changed the snowsrc part to

SEO/Google question: My WordPress sitemaps had pages with URLs like “….com/interests/” but google shows “…com/interests.html” which isn’t valid. How do I fix this? I have the WordPress SEO plugin by Yoast, which makes a site map for the pages. I checked the site map and its listing is correct as “..com/interests”
Oddly enough, the google results for the pages still have my meta tag descriptions show up, its just that the actual link to the page has the .html at the end
I already have a site map with the correct URLs, my issue is that certain pages (that previously existed on my past website version) show up in GOOGLE as .html when wordpress does not use .html URL endings

I’m more on the visual end of web design, but I can do enough HTML/CSS to get me some side work. My client would like a WordPress blog integrated into their static HTML site. It’s a 19 page site and I cannot write PHP, so converting all of the files isn’t exactly an option. They are interested in SEO so an iframe isn’t the solution – and I don’t know the first thing about RSS feeds.

Can someone please explain to me how this works and give me a push in the right direction?

I’m thinking about starting a blog, but I’m not sure which site to use. I’ve heard of the main ones (blogspot.com, blogger.com, wordpress.com, typepad.com etc), but I don’t know much about any of them! (I’m currently leaning towards blogspot)

I have a few requirements for my blog:

1. It must be quite customisable. I know HTML and CSS and a fair bit of web-design stuff, and am happy to use them to customise my blog. I’m not just talking about choosing between preset themes, but having the option to REALLY customise my blog.

2. I need to be able to post images, and perhaps also embed youtube etc videos.

3. It must be a free site – I don’t have the money to pay!

4. I don’t want all the space on the page to be taken up by adverts. Obviously, I expect there to be some adverts on a free blogging site, but the fewer the better!

5. I would like it to have good inbuilt tools, for example, to allow other users to comment, subscribe, etc, and certainly some way of archiving posts.

6. If there’s a way of making money from the blog, all the better!

7. I’m not at all keen on using myspace!

I am getting the following error when I go to my sight and click the site admin link under meta;
Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /home2/immortb3/public_html/wp-admin/index.php on line 1
It gives me a direct file to go to but what do I need to do to fix this? I’m very new at this wordpress stuff and am slightly frustrated trying to figure it out. Thank you in advance for any help that is offered.

Say I have a web page, which is currently constructed using HTML and CSS (No CMS). Then I want to put it into CakePHP (or wrap it with CakePHP, or however that works)… can I? Is it fairly simple? Does CakePHP use Templates ONLY!?
I am vaguely familiar with Joomla, and have used a template on that. I have also used WordPress, and templates there. Does this have to be done the same way? Are there ways AROUND using a template for CakePHP!?

I need a blogging site that allows you to change the layout, or pick from different ones, change the font, without having to use CSS, HTML or otherwise modify the script, use multiple tabs or pages on the same blog, something like what wordpress offers (but I can’t stand wordpress…), and just overall ease of use.

I currently have a blog on blogger.com and I like it, but I wish you could add another tab/page, not in the side column of the blog. If it makes a difference, I’m blogging on news, current events, personal opinions.

Any advice would be great, and I will pick a best answer, depending on who suggests the BEST site for what I described.
