What programming code wold help me build a similae website. I know html not so good with php. I;m using wordpress to build my website

I am trying to design a website using a content management system like WordPress – this site has to look like a sticky note site where I can post links and pictures in an organized fashion. However, these have to point to external sources. http://Wordpress.com is using exactly what I need, but I can’t find the theme anywhere and don’t have the php knowledge to build it myself. Help?

I am new to PHP, and I would appreciate any help I can get with this form. I am currently reading “Wicked Cool PHP“, but can’t find anything exactly applicable to what I want. Also wondering if maybe there is a WordPress plugin that would work?

Price Builder/Questionnaire
I am building a questionnaire that my clients will fill out, and at the end it will show them a price. Each item they select will have a price associated with it, that will be added to the running total of they select it. I do not want the prices displayed as they are going through the form, I want the total to be displayed at the end. One part of the questionnaire is conditional:

So there are 8 Steps total, if the answer to number 2 is “Yes”, then I want to skip to step number 4. If the answer to number 2 is “No”, I want to proceed as normal to number 3. These steps will all have prices associated with them (that I do not want to show), and at the end of the questionnaire, I would like there to be a captcha and then they hit “go” and the total calculated price will be shown.

Thanks – very helpful! So I now have it set up and it flows from page to page, and I have the conditional statement working. The only thing I don’t understand though is how I get each question to be associated with a different price (that they don’t see). For example, if they say “yes” to number one, lets say that’s $100.00, they go to number two and they say no which is $0.00, they go to number three and select yes which is $50.00, etc, etc so how would I have the last page say $150.00? The last page is the only part where I want them to see the price, not throughout the steps.

My friend asked me to redesign her website because her previous designer really messed it up and she’s counting on me to improve it.

Problem is, I know a lot about HMTL, CSS and stuff like that, but I don’t know how to start with a website. The site is already up and running, but how do it access its codes? How do I edit it??

She’s using WordPress and her server is my-websites.com..Do I need to log in somewhere with her account or what??

What is the EASIEST way to build a professional looking online newspaper for online. I only have $600 to spend- a web designer costs $1500- I don’t have the money. I want to develop a web site with a series of downloadable PDF documents, with the list of PDFs growing by time. Right now its small, like 20 documents but more and more documents will be added. The web site contains pages showing the thumbnail and description of the documents, and links for user to download. Do I need content management system for this so I can just keep adding documents/contents in the future without messing with the website?

Im trying to learn how to set up different types of websites, I don’t know any code, I want a regular domain name a websitename.com or .org or .net, how would someone go about doing this? Can anyone please recommend any good template sites? I thing I liked weebly.com and wordpress, but it seemed like you couldn’t get a regular domain name. Free Source – www.developphp.com In part 8 we create the forms and PHP scripts geared for editing existing pages that have already been made. The user can edit existing pages and we record the last edit date. We use the page ID numbers and a form field for the admin to claim which page they want to modify in this simple system. All of the existing data is queried from MySQL and placed into the form fields automatically to make life easy for the administrator.
