I imagemapped an image in mapedit…and it says there that you can click the html tag to copy the generated code but when I put it on my wordpress header.php, It doesn’t work! please help me !

I have tried the WordPress theme / plugin called “ComicPress” but I don’t like it. It’s not very user friendly or intuitive from my perspective. I want something simple and easily customizable. What else is out there? (Note: it doesn’t have to be a wordpress plugin, I’ll take raw PHP files too if I have to)

I want to know how sites like download.com and filehippo made. Are made of php? I don’t see a .php extention at the end of pages?
Can wordpress or any other easy software, be used to make sites like that?(WordPress, joomla, b3evolution)

I got bangs recently, and I love the way the stylist did them for me, they are side bangs. But I can’t seem to style them the way she did them, the way she styled them made them look round but stay on my forehead. Here’s an example:

uggg… I couldn’t find where to edit/add info to my question, so here it is again! I am looking for something similar to this… http://www.smmp.com/Advent/Advent.php with the appropriate sayings/ scripture references behind the doors for that day. And perhaps something a little more non-denominational and can be edited? (I know, I’m asking for a LOT!) Thanks….

I followed the instructions and placed this code:
into the “head” section in the “header.php” file. I also have my image uploaded to the img folder in my theme. I tried changing the code to “img/favicon.ico” as the link, still no luck.
Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? Thanks.
