okay, sorry if i didn’t wrote the question right because i dont know how to spell it.

I am planning to make my own blog just like wordpress, blogspot and etc. (using PHP mostly). But my problem is, is there’re any tools or script if I want to posts my post into a formatted text? like giving it bold or italic or underline, or giving it size and etc without the need to edit it through the notepad or giving it or tag manually. I will be using MySql as database. I want to have like wordpress, or blogspot or PHPBB have but i dont know where to find it.

I’d like to make a blog, but I do not like how for blogspot or wordpress you have to have the www.________.wordpress.com. Can you please tell me how I can make my own website/blog without the .blogsport/.wordpress.. I’d like to learn C+ and HTML coding, but I do not know how to publish the html code??

I have a website I run using GoDaddy and already know how to hide the forced banner they apply with free hosting but want to know if it’s possible to apply that piece of coding to all my pages. I want to use wordpress and phpBB to run my site and forum now and know it will take a long time to sit there applying a few lines of code to almost 2000 pages. So basically I want to know if there is any piece of coding to put on a new seperate page that will apply the following code to all my pages.

can you explain exactly how to do that? i’m only 13 so thats why…

After obtaining a shared hosting site, What programs would you suggest a individual use that hasn’t built a website in 5 years when i built one at a university using HTML code. And I want 3 websites One is a hobby type that has alot of pdf’s and photos and some possible video(that i may want to customize more than some programs will allow,colors ,fonts and general placement of information on my page) , another may be just a blog of my own and another will be a business site for some friends of mine that have a business that want a website.

I can’t figure out which one to go with, they both seem to have pros and cons.

I want to have about 2-4 seperate websites/blogs preferably a website that can blog vs blog only.
And I would like to have adsense on my sites, good SEO, something that will eventually allow me to add a message board and very affordable hosting and a EASY enough set up for someone who knows very little HTML.

Your thoughts please?

I’m not a web designer so I had to get this template for free. Is there a way I can make changes to it by changing the html? http://www.pokerstoned.com/ The main thing I want to do is take off that Blog Roll tab on the left side.

Also, does anyone know about how much it would cost to have someone design a template that I would want. My website is part poker, and part weed.

Ok I know this may seem like a stupid question to those of you who know most HTML codes or javascript or whatever but I really do not know how to put this code on a page in my Blog for a countdown until Chrismtas! I’ve seen that when adding posts, you can choose to do it by Visual or HTML But I still have no clue because If I just simply copy and paste the code (I’ve tried this before with a different code thing) It won’t work. Please help!

Basically I want to design a website, preferrably using wordpress. I want the page to look like an open journal sort of like this:

I want to create a text field that has a button (linked to mydomain.wordpress.com/) labeled “Log In” (even though this isn’t a true log in). When the button is clicked, the contents of the text box are added to the link. For example, if the text “HelloWorld” was entered into the text box, when the button is clicked, the URL mydomain.wordpress.com/HelloWorld would load.

(mydomain is just a placeholder)

Im using iWeb so I cannot easily implement PHP. If there is a JavaScript method, please explain.

I’m making a website for my mom (yeah I know kind of pathetic/sad) that’s blog. She wants a certain font for the title, and I know that only you can view the font. (If it helps I’m using WordPress) she has a font that she wants me to use and I can upload it to the website no problem, but what do I do in order to make it viewable to everyone?

Since I had made a complete backup beforehand, I decided to revert the old version of WP (August 2006 – not sure of the version number), and now I get:

I know it’s something bonehead easy, but since my site is completely hosed, the panic is setting in.

This was all done via FTP on Godaddy.
I started out with the August 2006 Version of WordPress (not sure of the version number). I tried to revert to this version, but it’s still hosed.

I used “binary” in FTP to copy my files, not ASCII. Someone said to use ASCII. I always used binary, and everything worked before today’s upgrade.

I am having an issue allowing my image to appear in the header. When it comes to word press, what is the html code to insert the image? I am using img src…but should I use the folder then the file name? like images/logo.jpg? Please any ideas….
