Hello :) I’ve always loved photography. I’m 15 at the moment, and previously I had mainly been using digital Point-and-shoot cameras (Sony cybershot T300) It served me some fantastic shots, though now I have felt it’s time to take a step up and try a real DSLR.

I’ve been borrowing my dad’s Nikon D5000. The lens is….well I don’t know any details off by heart, so here is what it says : 72mm , AF-S NIKKOR 18-200mm 1:3:5-5.6

ANYWAY. My MAIN QUESTION is: I’ve been taking various shots and have already learned how to adjust Aperture, ISO, Shutter speed/f-stops etc. However, for some reason when I take them and view them on the little screen, they look perfectly sharp and great.

Then when I upload onto my computer and view them large, I find that the quality really isn’t as good as it looked on the little screen. It looks almost like the same quality (or even worse) than what my Digital automatic point&shoot could give me!

I don’t know what else to do. I’ve tried brightening and darkening exposure, playing around with different settings of darkness / light etc. I think someone needs to tell me why this is happening and what I can do to make my pictures sharper.

Well Im 14 and fairly new at riding but i know the basics in riding and i want to know what’s the best breed for me. I have dogs and two younger siblings so i want a breed that’s relatively calm. I’m going to work extra hard in training it so that’s not a problem. I honestly don’t plan on entering the horse in anything special but i’m not sure yet. I have my eye on a certain breed that i have researched called the American Paint but i’m still unsure. If you have any horse breed that i should look into please leave it below along with a reason as to why i should get this breed. If u also have some comments on the American Paint please also leave it below. I would also like to know what “hands” means? I mean i always hear that horse’s are measured in hands but i have no idea what that means.

Yes, I have already assured that. Usually the camera’s settings are on Jpeg Fine / Raw. Even at JPEG Fine, still…just doesn’t come out amazing.

This camera has been used before and has taken great pictures.

Perhaps I need to know special techniques on how to assure and get sharp, clear images? Any sites that someone could inform me? Thanks x

I’m 17 right now, and I want to play Roller Derby when I get older. My only problem is that my last pair of quads were these:

I can rollerBLADE just fine, but obviously, I need to learn how to skate on quads!

For the next year, I just need a pair of skates so I can learn to skate. I don’t want something TOO expensive, incase I end up abandoning it. Can I get a decent pair or quads in the $50-$60 range? If I stick with it, I obviously would upgrade, but i just need something to learn on. I was planning on going to Dicks to buy a pair, will I have luck there?

I’ve been trading Forex in a demo account for over 2 months now. I’ve lost everything once in the process, made over $1,000 some days, etc. But I would like to research forex trading more to get more expert opinions. I’ve read the whole beginner’s guide on www.babypips.com (good resource for people brand new to Forex!)

Anyway I was just wondering…… are there any people out there famous for trading Forex full-time and being successful at it? Are there any widely-acclaimed books or articles or schools of thought? Keep in mind I’m not referring to “systems” you have to pay for, ie. scam artists.

I’m on 1&1.com, and I’ve just bought a domain. I’m trying to create a blog, so I’m trying to implement WordPress into my site. According to the tutorial I’m reading, I’m supposed to-
“Click on the icon on the ‘Administration’ tab marked “MySQL Administration, then click on the button labeled ‘New Database’.”

However, under the Administration tab there is no icon that says “MySQL Administration” and I don’t know where to find it. Does anybody know where I can find it?

I have the beginner’s package if that helps any. Sorry if this doesn’t make a lot of sense, I’m terrible with computers, so if you could explain the answer it relatively simple English I would appreciate it a lot. Thank you! :)

I’m into using GIMP and downloading fonts and resources to make graphics and templates for my personal websites. However, this made my old computer really slow and vulnerable to spyware, etc. How do I take good care of my computer while creating graphics and downloading resources and uploading images and coding layouts.

I’m getting better with WordPress and making graphics, but I still consider myself a beginner in computer maintenance & MAYBE intermediate in web design.
I use Firefox. Thanks for the add-on. I’ve been using Firefox for a couple months now and it is so much better than IE. Google Chrome is pretty good too.

On my old computer I did disk cleanups and disk defrags but they didn’t seem to make a difference. Of course I was using a free anti-virus that was crap. I now have a new computer. I still don’t like the anti-virus. I don’t like downloading anti-virus. All the ones I’ve ever used never seemed to be effective.

Has anyone tried out Wealthy Affiliate before? It’s supposed to take you from beginner internet marketer to pro marketer making $1000′s per day.

I have read a lot about wordpress, but is that too complicated to start out on? Can you customize it easily?
Is there other places good for beginners?
